BUSINESS ENGLISH
Sprott-Shaw International Language College 's Business English program is designed to provide an overview of communications found in typical business transactions.

Description:

Using role-playing, lecture, projects, and group work, students will receive instruction in basic business planning, resume writing, job search, marketing, and TOEIC testing preparation, and a 2 week internship with a local business.

Requirements:

- Minimum 18 years of age
- Basic computer skills
- SSILC admissions test

Duration:

- 10 weeks lecture plus 2 weeks practicum
- Full-time with TOEIC training certificate 9am to 4 pm Monday
_through Friday .
- Full-time with Power Speaking certificate 9am to 4 pm _Monday
_through Friday
- Part-Time Certificate Program Only 9am to noon Monday through
_Friday.

Practicum:

Full Time and part-time students will be placed with a local business where they can observe Canadian business practices and contribute their knowledge and experience to the workplace. Practicum placement may be extended at the request of the student when registering. Students must demonstrate a comfortable working knowledge of English prior to placement in practicum. Work permit might be required.
