HOMESTAY PROGRAM

Residing with a Canadian host family is an excellent opportunity in which to familiarize, utilize and practice your English skills, you will experience Canadian culture and family life at its best. Homes are inspected and fitted to suit, by our Home stay coordinator to ensure that your experience while you are in Canada is accommodating and
enjoyable to you the student.

Description:

Your host family is happy to help you in learning Canadian culture and customs, providing you with basic information on how to get around and where you will want to go, whether it is to your school, the library or recreational activities. You will become a welcome member with your selected host family and will feel relaxed and comfortable in our great city of Vancouver, BC.

Cost Effective:

As a student staying within a Host family you can expect to find a
clean, comfortable and private room. Your space will have at minimum a desk, bed and closet, as well as use of house facilities. You will be offered a variety of different meals three times per day. If you have preferences or dislikes to certain types of food, please notify your host family upon arrival.

Home stay Prices for Prospective Students over 18 vary from one SSILC campus to another. Average price will be:

Placement Fee: _____________________$ 100 - $165
Monthly rates including 3 meals per day : $ 650 - $850
Airport Pickup and drop off: ____________$ _25 - $75

Arrangements:

If you are interested in applying for our Home stay program please
complete the following form and return it at least one month prior to your arrival in Canada.
