Certificate is designed to provide students
with the opportunity to develop their public
speaking skills using role-playing, presentation,
lecture, and outside group activities.
Description:
This program
will also introduce students to Toastmasters
International which can provide graduates
with a lifelong learning opportunity to
continue developing their speaking skills
in over 80 countries around the world.

- How to begin speeches
- How to create introductions
- How to conclude speeches
- How to develop leadership characteristics
- How to Debate
- How to use public speaking techniques
- How to address cultural differences
- How to negotiate
- How to give ceremonial toasts
- How to understand and use body language
- How to present a speech
- How to improve pronunciation
In addition to classroom
instruction on improving overall business
communications, students will also be provided
a membership to Toastmasters International
upon completion of the program. Students
will also learn to provide feedback and
conduct evaluations of their Peers.
The program will conclude
for the student with the completion of a
videotaped speech on a subject of their
choice.
